On November 21, 2024, Haihai Yacht's 50-foot catamaran Seaview 50 equipped with a "wind + solar + energy storage" system set sail from Xinhui Port in China to Phuket, Thailand. This marks an important step forward for China's green energy yacht industry.

Featuring a 47.10KWh lithium battery, the catamaran can run air conditioning for up to 8 hours without the need for a generator, reducing fuel consumption and carbon emissions.

As the marine industry adopts sustainable technologies, materials such as EVA/PE boat flooring are becoming an important part of the green revolution. EVA/PE flooring offers several benefits, including being lightweight, durable, and environmentally friendly. It is resistant to UV rays, salt water and abrasion, making it ideal for vessels where energy efficiency and environmental responsibility are a priority.

Heysea plans to expand its renewable energy-powered fleet to global markets by 2025, including the United States, Australia and Europe. The voyage not only demonstrates the company's commitment to green energy, but also highlights the growing importance of sustainable materials such as EVA/PE flooring in modern yacht design.
